Overture Man opens with a warm rush of cognac, cumin, cardamom, nutmeg, saffron, ginger and grapefruit — an assertive spiced citrus start. The heart turns resinous with myrrh, benzoin, cinnamon, labdanum, mastic and patchouli, before a smoky, animalic base of incense, leather and sandalwood settles in for a commanding finish.
